Green Dragon Power™
Just as plug-in hybrid vehicles represent a transitional greening technology in the transportation sector, so also high efficiency, “hybrid” green power systems will integrate the best alternative energy technologies with zero emissions coal and advanced waste treatment technologies. These versatile systems can turn coal and industrial wastes into biofuels, low cost electricity, and a stream of other valuable products which can be sold on the international spot markets. They will serve as a transitional green bridge during this decade, anticipating the development of a more robust green infrastructure in the second decade of the 21st century.

The trend toward green hybrid power systems is being powerfully accelerated by a growing consensus in the United States among legislators, regulators, major industrial groups, and the environmental community that a “cap and trade” system is both inevitable and desirable. How can innovative companies, individual inventors and entrepreneurs optimally mine this opportunity? A key resource can be Energy Voyager’s Collaborative Business Intelligence and Innovation Network (CBIN/COIN) Platforms.

Energy Voyager has established a new division, Green Dragon™ Power to support innovators with novel ideas, technologies, and products. Currently, three CBIN/COIN Platforms are being deployed:

  • The EPRI/Energy Voyager Distributed Storage/Generation CBIN (initial focus: lithium-ion batteries for the power sector)
  • Biofuels CBIN
  • Clean Coal CBIN (with strong emphasis on CO2 emission control and CO2 sequestration strategies)

Energy Voyager is currently developing two classes of products under the Green Dragon™ line using this technology:

  • CO2 sequestration products for distributed green power.
  • Lithium battery systems for the plug-in hybrid and distributed power market.

Energy Voyager and Green Dragon™ invite our users to deploy the CBIN and COIN Platform to identify, develop, and build momentum behind their ideas, discoveries, and inventions. We welcome your feedback and suggestions and possible collaboration in the launch of our own product lines.
